Job description
Position Title: Estimator
Position Type: Full-Time
Your role at Prism will include:
- Analyzing project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work
- Preparing accurate cost estimates for materials, labour and equipment
- Collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors for input and pricing
- Doing site visits to assess conditions and verify project requirements
- Using estimating software and tools to streamline the process
- Reviewing and Analyzing quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare detailed proposals for clients
- Identify potential risks and suggesting cost savings
- Assist in the development of project schedules and timelines
- Performing other relevant duties as assigned

- You can read and interpret drawings very well
- You are familiar with AutoCAD and/or Revit and estimating software
- You possess strong analytical and mathematical skills
- You have excellent communication and negotiation abilities

Note: education in quantity surveying and architecture is a strong asset
