Job description

Position Title: Office Administrator

Position Type: Full time

Your role at Prism will include:

  • Performing administrative duties such as office emails, mail, meetings, phones and guest reception
  • Drafting and editing documents, letters and reports
  • Handling data entry and record keeping (physical and digital) including databases and filing systems, project records and property management support
  • Assisting accounts payable and cheque runs
  • Organizing company events, lunches and general office organization
  • Handling office and kitchen inventory and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Supporting human resources and technology (as needed)

You should apply to be an Office Administrator at Prism Construction only if:

  • You are self-motivated, results driven, and prefer working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • You are detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task and prioritize
  • You have strong data entry skills
  • You are happy and willing to do even the smallest task
  • You enjoy managing people and relationships, and have a positive attitude
  • You have a post-secondary education in accounting, or other related education
  • You have extensive experience with MS Office software
  • You have 5 years relevant work experience, ideally in the construction field
  • You possess excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • You have a “can do” attitude and the willingness to be part of a growing and changing company

IT expertise will be an important asset
