After obtaining his education as a Quantity Surveyor in England, Amin moved to Canada in the 70s and immediately began his education in local commercial construction practices. He and Findlay Gibbons partnered and ran Nova Construction in the 80s before Amin launched Prism in 1998.
Amin is a Fellow of the British Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and a Member of the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (PQS).
